The Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act of 1999 and recent regulations stemming from the Act established new requirements for certain organizations like us regarding the provision of privacy protections for and notices to customers. This Policy is designed to help assure our compliance with this Act and other applicable laws.

Examples of information collected might include the customer's name, address, and telephone number, as well as other personal information such as his or her health, financial, and employment history.
We restrict access to nonpublic personal information about customers to employees and agents who need to know that information in connection with the financial products and services we provide to customers. When necessary, such information is shared in effecting, servicing, or enforcing transactions with the customers. We do not disclose any nonpublic personal information about our customers or former customers to anyone, except as permitted (or required) by law. For example, when authorized or requested by customers, we may use or disclose information provided by customers to contact someone the customer has identified as a reference. Also, we maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards (e.g., locking file cabinets, computer passwords and firewalls, etc.) to guard the nonpublic personal information of our customers.
Whenever we hire outside parties to help us conduct our business, we require them to maintain the confidentiality of customer personal information and abide by all applicable privacy laws. We do not authorize them to use or disclose customer personal information for any purpose other than the work they are performing on our behalf or as required by law.
